The 27 EU member states, trusting Muammar Gaddafi, most of which have also received him as a highly respectable head of state, will have to find another country that respects human rights in order to relieve themselves of their greatest occupation and anxiety: the "flow of migrants"!
How will the EU pursue the outsourcing of its asylum policy? It will need to find partners such as it is already the case for Mauritania, Morocco and Algeria, who have obtained, amongst others of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), means to manage the camps. So the EU has already outsourced some of the camps, but would so much like all migrants to be stranded on its borders. They would then stay in camps run outside the Union where the "formalities" can be fulfilled in peace, away from the eyes of citizens and the press. Quietly, with funding from the EU so avoiding her also costly evictions that some people even dare to reprove.
And what will happen to the treaty of friendship between Italy and Libya? What is Libya going to do if the Commission fails to pay over 20 million euro annually? Will it continue its deportations of migrants to their country of origin as is the case nowadays?
